A tinted sunscreen that provides protection from harmful sun exposure.

Details

For oil-free sun protection with just a touch of color, our lightly tinted UV Physical is a healthy choice. This chemical-free natural mineral sunscreen has antioxidants to neutralize free radicals. Water-resistant UV Physical withstands water, humidity and perspiration.

  • 9.0% transparent zinc oxide, 7.0% titanium dioxide
  • Antioxidant protection combats skin-aging free radicals associated with ultraviolet (UV) and infrared radiation (IR).
  • Lightly-tinted formula
  • Water-resistant (40 minutes)
  • UVA/UVB sun protection
  • Fragrance-free, oil-free, paraben-free, sensitivity-free, chemical-free and noncomedogenic

Instructions

Apply liberally before exposure to the sun. Reapply after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating and every 2 to 3 hours to maintain protection.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Zinc oxide 9.0%, titanium dioxide 7.0%.

Inactive Ingredients: aluminum hydroxide, butylene glycol, citric acid, dimethicone/methicone copolymer, hydrated silica, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, iron oxide, isopropyl palmitate, lecithin, linoleic acid, octyldodecyl neopentanoate, octyl stearate, oleth-3 phosphate, perfluorononyl dimethicone, phenoxyethanol, polyacrylate 13/polyisobutene/polysorbate 20, purified water, quercetin, sodium hydroxide, thioctic acid (alpha lipoic acid), triethoxycaprylylsilane.

Very Sensitive skin
Needed something after Fraxel procedure on my face and this was it! Recommended by my dermatologist it has made it possible for me to go out briefly in the sun and not worry about the sun's rays affecting my skin. The tinted color helps tone down the redness of my skin while protecting it as well.

This sunscreen is very good and I would recommend it for sensitive and acne prone skin. It leaves a very slight white cast, but nothing major. I wear it alone or sometimes under make-up and it does not pill or cause any issues!

The EltaMD broad spectrum spf 41 is the perfect tinted sunscreen - does not feel greasy or heavy - works well over other face products and makeup - neutral colour - I use different sunscreens depending on activity - but this one is the one I use the most - works well for my 65 year old skin

Acne prone mature skin
This is the best sunscreen I have found that does not make my skin break out. I am in my 60's with skin that can still have cystic acne if I use the wrong product. I am very happy with the Elta Md-I can use it every day with no issues!

I am SO happy with this mineral sunscreen. The tint is great and it's not greasy. Provides a good SPF (41). I feel secure knowing my skin is protected AND I feel great about using it post treatment (laser, peels, microneedling, etc).
